We have officially outgrown our new space and now moved on to the cafeteria. Excuse the young elders practicing their Aunty laugh. I love the energy.

✨ Are you ready for this Saturday?! 🌱🪴
Plant Bingo fundraiser is May 30th 12-3:30!

🚗 Schedule and parking info below.
- This event will be inside Metz Elementary Cafeteria.
- Free refreshments and community potluck will be available.

NAIYA will also be having a plate sale to fundraiser for their youth group:) Food will be prepared by Christian Flores. Read more below!

My name is Christian Flores I started Ayotochtli: ancestral kitchen which I created to try to bring people closer to the way our people once lived and ate.
To me nothing is more important to a cultures survival than the food we eat and the ways we prepared it.

On a more personal note: I am Nahua and Mescalero Apache, I am father of a precious little lady name Elaine, and she is the inspiration for what I do.
I’m currently a culinary student at the August Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and a member of NAIYA and NAAC which is full of the most talented and loving people you could meet.

My specialization lies in food, culture, and Indigenous culinary traditions, particularly those of Central Mexico and the Southwest United States from which my ancestors reside, although I do dabble in Cajun/creole from time to time.

See you there!
