Liberty Ukraine Foundation Liberty Ukraine Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit (EIN: 88-1688760) fundraising for Ukraine and Europe.

We are a team of professionals and cultural workers who came together to help Ukrainians defend their freedom and survive a brutal war Russia started against Ukraine. We have no salaried personnel and rely on an extensive network of volunteers in the U.S. Our main focus is to save lives on the frontlines and help children overcome war trauma. We fundraise for causes that range from purchasing protective gear for rescue workers to physical therapy for wounded civilians, servicemen, and women.

Dependable. Quiet. Always getting the job done.

Oleg is one of those people every team hopes to have. Our recent 40ft container shipment would not have happened without his ability to organize the team, coordinate details, and keep everything moving smoothly from start to finish.

And no task is ever “too small” for him either — from delivering supplies and boxing aid to stepping in wherever help is needed, Oleg is always there, sleeves rolled up and ready to work.

And behind every strong man is an equally wonderful partner 💛 Olga Pavlyshyn’s homemade treats are truly legendary at our bake sales. Together they constantly show up for the community with warmth and generosity.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance. A day set aside to honor American service members who died in combat and to reflect on the unimaginable price paid for the freedoms so often taken for granted.

Men and women who gave their lives for the belief that freedom, dignity, and humanity are worth defending, no matter the cost.

Across generations, the faces change, the uniforms change, the battlefields change, but the sacrifice remains painfully familiar.

Today, as the world once again witnesses cities under attack, families torn apart, and people fighting for the right to exist freely, the meaning of this day feels especially close to home.

Freedom was never free. And generation after generation, someone is called to stand in its defense.

May we remember not only the fallen, but also the values they gave their lives protecting: humanity, dignity, and the right of people to live free from tyranny.

Eternal gratitude to those who served.
Eternal memory to those who never returned.
