Liberty Ukraine Foundation Liberty Ukraine Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit (EIN: 88-1688760) fundraising for Ukraine and Europe.

We are a team of professionals and cultural workers who came together to help Ukrainians defend their freedom and survive a brutal war Russia started against Ukraine. We have no salaried personnel and rely on an extensive network of volunteers in the U.S. Our main focus is to save lives on the frontlines and help children overcome war trauma. We fundraise for causes that range from purchasing protective gear for rescue workers to physical therapy for wounded civilians, servicemen, and women.

10 years of KORD.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of visiting the Kyiv Unit KORD base to personally congratulate the unit on its first 10-year anniversary and spend time with its leadership, including the Chief of Kyiv KORD, Vadym Shvalyuk.

What began in 2016 as a pilot project modeled after American SWAT units has become one of Ukraine’s most respected special operations forces. Over the past decade, KORD has evolved from pursuing the country’s most dangerous criminals to carrying out some of the most challenging combat missions on the front.

For us, this visit wasn’t just about marking an anniversary. It was about thanking people we deeply respect.

Over the years, we’ve had the honor of supporting KORD with equipment and standing beside them whenever we could. Every visit reminds us that behind the uniforms are dedicated professionals, leaders, fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters who continue to choose service, no matter how difficult the mission.

To Chief Vadym Shvalyuk and every member of KORD - thank you for your trust, your courage, and your commitment to protecting Ukraine.

Congratulations on your first decade. It is an honor to stand with you, and we look forward to supporting your mission for many years to come.

Yesterday, our Tonya Levchuk and Nataliya Kovalchuk had the privilege of visiting the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade 72 ОМБр ім. Чорних Запорожців in Kharkiv and meeting with the brigade's commander Roman Reytor and deputy commander.

Our relationship with the 72nd Brigade goes back to 2014. Over the years, it has grown into something much deeper than humanitarian support. It is built on trust, shared values, and a common purpose.

Supporting people who dedicate their lives to defending Ukraine, and who share the same commitment, integrity, and vision - is both an honor and a responsibility.

During our meeting, we discussed the next steps of our collaboration and new ways to strengthen this partnership. Because the strongest support isn't measured by a single delivery, but by relationships that stand the test of time.

To the defenders of the 72nd Brigade - thank you for everything you do for Ukraine. And thank you for taking the time, even in the midst of war, to meet with us, exchange ideas, and continue building stronger bridges between those on the front lines and those working tirelessly to support them from the rear.

Together, we accomplish more.

Some people are simply irreplaceable. Anatoliy is one of them.

While Kharkiv lives under constant air raid sirens and shelling, he keeps repairing, rebuilding, and welding vehicles for Ukrainian defenders, giving evacuation vehicles, engineering equipment, and armored transports a second life when they’re needed most.

His golden hands, unwavering dedication, and kind heart have become the foundation of our work in Kharkiv. No matter the challenge, he always finds a way to get it done.

Anatoliy, thank you for everything you do - for your resilience, your craftsmanship, and your quiet determination to protect those protecting Ukraine.

Delivered: Excavator for the 428th Unmanned Systems Battalion ("Shadow" / Тінь) 428 ОББпС.

The excavator has arrived at the 428th Unmanned Systems Battalion, a specialized drone unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

This equipment will support engineering, logistics, and fortification work, helping defenders move materials, strengthen positions, and complete critical tasks more efficiently.

Today, russia once again attacked not only people, but Ukraine’s history, faith, culture, and identity.

On the night of June 14–15, russia launched 70 missiles and 611 drones across Ukraine. Kyiv was the primary target.

Residential neighborhoods in nine districts of the capital were damaged. Fires broke out at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and Mystetskyi Arsenal.

In Kharkiv, a repeated strike on the scene of an earlier attack killed four rescuers and injured nine more as they worked to save lives.

The number of deaths as a result of the shelling has increased to 5 people, 34 others were injured, including 2 children.

Among the targets was the Dormition Cathedral at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, whose history dates back to the 11th century. A Russian drone strike set its roof on fire. As flames engulfed one of Ukraine’s holiest sites, its bells rang out the melody of Ukraine’s national anthem: “Ukraine Has Not Yet Perished.”

When russia cannot break the Ukrainian people or occupy their land, it strikes at what shapes their identity - churches, museums, schools, and centuries of history.

But history built by generations of Ukrainians cannot be erased by missiles or drones.
Ukraine will endure.
