Every organization fights something. We fight The Gap. 💙

The Gap is the language a parent doesn't speak at a parent-teacher conference. It's the system nobody explained. It's the resources that exist, but not for everyone.

The Gap is why a bright child falls behind, why a capable parent feels powerless, and why a family ends up facing it all alone.

For 25 years, LaAmistad has existed to close it. ✨ Not by serving just the student — by surrounding the whole family: tutoring for the child 📚, English and life skills for the parents, and a community that walks beside them. 🤝

Others serve the student. We serve the family. That's friendship. And it's our name.
