Atlanta St. Patrick's Parade

Atlanta St. Patrick's Parade Join us for the 142nd Atlanta St. Patrick's Parade on Saturday, March 14, 2026- steps-off at noon Atlanta’s St. Atlanta St.

Patrick’s Day parade – started by the city’s Hibernian Benevolent Society (a Catholic and Protestant fraternal organization) – dates back to 1858, making it one of the country’s oldest. Produced by the Irish Network Atlanta, the Parade features representatives from the various Irish groups that are an integral part of Atlanta’s Irish community. Members of the Hibernian Benevolent Society, the Anci

ent Order of Hibernians (AOH), Clan Na NGael, Fire Emerald Society of Metro Atlanta (FESMA), the Irish Information Center and the Metro Atlanta Police Emerald Society (MAPES) are all active members and participants. Among the goals of the group are the education of the public about the significant contributions made by the Irish to Atlanta, the South and the United States. Patrick’s Parade is a 501(c)(3) organization. Participation in the parade is not just an “Irish thing”. The parade attracts individuals and groups from around the city and the South including clowns, floats, bands, Bagpipe & Drum Corps, children, dancers, drill teams, and more. All groups are encouraged to participate as long as their unit is appropriate for a “family” event. The emphasis is on children and families in celebration of all of Atlanta’s diverse backgrounds on a day when “everybody is Irish.”

Still reliving some of our favorite moments from the parade… 🤍☘️

It’s been one week since we saw llamas walking down Peachtree… and we’re still not over it. 🦙☘️

Moments like that are what make the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade so unforgettable, and we already can’t wait to do it all over again.

In this video, Tracy from shares more about why their work is so important and the impact they’re making beyond the parade. 💚

One of our favorite milestones this year was seeing l back on Peachtree. ☘️

Now in their fifth year in the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade, this incredible organization continues to open doors for young people by giving them access to music, creativity, and opportunity.

Hearing from their director and watching their students show up with confidence and joy is a reminder of what this parade is really about — community, growth, and creating space for the next generation. 💚

The parade may be over, but what makes St. Patrick’s Day in Atlanta so special goes far beyond one day on Peachtree. ☘️

and reflect on the real magic of it all — the Irish community coming together throughout the year, building relationships, growing, and showing up for one another in a meaningful way.

By the time the parade arrives, it’s more than a celebration. It’s a reflection of a community that’s been connected all along. 💚

Who you gonna call… when the leprechauns start causing trouble on Peachtree? 👻☘️

A huge thank you to the Atlanta Ghostbusters and our very own MIB Agent S from Men in Black for keeping watch during Saturday’s parade and making sure every mischievous leprechaun stayed in line.

Because protecting the participants, the floats, and the fun is serious business. 😎

Thanks for bringing the laughs and helping keep the parade safe for everyone!

Peachtree was full of amazing faces this year, and one of the most unexpected was streamer Kai Cenat showing up in the middle of the celebration. ☘️

With that kind of energy, we’ve officially decided to dub him our unofficial Grand Marshal of the 2026 parade.😭😂

We’re still smiling thinking about all the incredible moments from the day and can’t wait to keep sharing more highlights.

Tell us in the comments, what were some of your favorite moments from this year’s parade? 💚

happened to run into Joseph Mooney , CEO of WattAir .co and Forbes 30 Under 30, ahead of the parade. They chatted about his company, what brought him to Atlanta, and how meaningful it’s been to connect with people from his culture here in the city.

A reminder that the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade is not just a celebration of tradition, but also a place where community and new connections happen.
