THANK YOU: When most people saw a problem, 16-year-old Jaeleon Hawkins-Jones saw a way to help.

With SNAP benefits paused during the government shutdown, families in Gwinnett County were worried about putting food on the table.

Instead of waiting for someone else to step up, Jaeleon took action.

He started raising money and delivering food boxes filled with essentials: rice, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, and snacks for kids.

His efforts have already helped dozens of families, and the campaign continues to grow.
