We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to spend time with the Max Gruver Foundation at this month’s meeting.

Our young men — alongside their moms — engaged in an honest, heartfelt conversation about the devastating and very real consequences of hazing. We also discussed the courage it takes to stand up for one another and the responsibility we share in protecting those around us.

Thank you for helping us continue the important work of building leaders of character, integrity, and compassion. 💙

Honoring Dr. King’s legacy through service 🤍

Today, on the Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service, our YMSL members showed that impact starts with action. From lending a helping hand to spreading kindness in our community, we are proud to serve and give back together.

“Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Thank you to our incredible young men and families for leading with heart and purpose. 💙✨

The Class of 2028 undertook a significant challenge — creating breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a family of four on a budget of just $20. Every item was then donated to NFCC to support families in need 🙌
Experiences like this help build compassion, awareness, and leadership in our young men. We are so proud of their dedication to service and their commitment to making a difference in our community 💙✨

As we welcome 2026, we celebrate the spirit of service, leadership, and community that defines the Chapter. We are grateful for our incredible moms, sons, volunteers, families, and community partners whose dedication continues to make a meaningful impact. As we step into the new year, we remain committed to developing strong leaders, strengthening families, and giving back together. Here’s to a year of purpose, growth, and shared service. 🎆✨

Wreaths Across America is a national organization dedicated to honoring military veterans each December. On December 13th, YMSL proudly helped honor the veterans of the John’s Creek Veterans Association at The Wall That Heals in Newtown Park.
Over 250 wreaths were laid in remembrance of our fallen heroes. We are grateful for their service and sacrifice 🇺🇸

Our seniors spread some holiday cheer this week by making gingerbread houses and sharing them with the wonderful residents at Brickmont of Roswell 🎄🍪
A simple gesture, but a meaningful moment of connection, joy, and community. We’re so proud of our students for giving back and sharing smiles this season ❤️

Instilling a Heart of Service in Our Sons.

Members of the Centennial Chapter of the Young Men's Service League are mothers and their high school sons who participate in a comprehensive four-year program dedicated to service, learning, and leadership.

Time passes quickly during the four important transitional years of high school. Our sons go from being boys to men right before our eyes. During this time, YMSL provides opportunities spend to quality time together serving side by side. Our sons will not only learn about other’s needs, but they will also learn about their own character and gain a new respect for the mother/son relationship.

Founded in 2012, the Centennial chapter is one of the oldest in metro Atlanta. Our chapter draws its members from the Alpharetta, Roswell and Johns Creek areas. To learn more about our Chapter and membership opportunities visit us at: YMSLCentennial.org

Young Men's Service League (YMSL) is a non-profit national organization that initiates and encourages young men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their community and provides an opportunity to enhance mother/son relationships. There are currently over 90 chapters across 15 states. Learn more at: YMSL.org
