The Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation provides essential financial assistance to Metro Atlanta cancer patients. This year, we will serve more than 1,900 patients and provide over $500,000 in support for housing, transportation, food, and utilities.

A fun way you can help is by participating in the 5th Annual Feathers 5K this Saturday on the campus of Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven. You can run, jog, walk, or stroll at this family‑friendly event. CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF HOPE AND HELP

Earlier this month, on March 7th, we quietly celebrated a remarkable milestone—our 25th birthday. For a quarter of a century, the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) has stood beside Metro Atlanta cancer patients during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Since our founding, we have provided more than $4.4 million in essential living expenses, supporting over 15,000 cancer patients with help for housing, transportation, food, and utilities.

What Your Support Has Made Possible
• We have prevented hundreds of evictions and kept families safely housed.
• We have kept thousands of lights on, along with heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer.
• Each year, we distribute more than 300 grocery gift cards to help families put food on the table.
• And over the years, we have helped patients travel more than 100,000 miles to and from lifesaving treatment.
These are not just numbers—they are moments of relief, dignity, and hope made possible by people like you.

A New 90-Day Campaign: Keeping Patients Connected
We are launching a special 90-day fundraising effort focused on a need that is often overlooked but absolutely critical: cell phone access.

Today, many cancer patients rely on their phones to access patient portals, medical records, appointment reminders, insurance information, and communication with their care teams. When a patient’s phone is disconnected for non-payment, they lose far more than a device—they lose access to their care.

The SOUND OF HOPE was truly an amazing success. A huge thank you to Rick Barrick for leading the charge and bringing this inaugural event to life.

We're thrilled to share that the event generated $34,448 in revenue. The venue was packed with more than 225 attendees, creating an electric atmosphere that showcased both our mission and our community.

Thank you to both Francisco Vidal and Rock ’N’ Taco, who were instrumental in getting the event off the ground. Thanks also to "Southside" Steve Rickman for promoting and emceeing the event.

Thanks also to songwriter/producer Johnny Andrews, who served as a judge, along with Francisco and the Foundation's own, Jon Bodan. The three of them brought great energy and expertise to the judging panel.

Our three competing bands — Better Than Silence, Sonic Alley, and Family Truckster — each brought their fan base and delivered outstanding performances that had the crowd fully engaged. The winning band was Family Truckster. but the real winner are the cancer patients we will be able to help because of the SOH!
