Juneteenth: Honor. Reflect. Celebrate.

Today, we honor the significance of Juneteenth and commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. It is a time to reflect on our history, celebrate the resilience and achievements of Black communities, and recommit ourselves to advancing equity and opportunity for all.

In observance of Juneteenth, Westside Works will be closed today, June 19th. We will resume normal operations on June 22nd.

There’s nothing better than seeing our mission in action.

Coordinating the Hotel Phoenix hiring event was an incredible opportunity to connect local residents with quality job opportunities; and that’s exactly what we’re here to do. Creating direct pathways to employment isn’t just the goal, it’s the work.

We’re especially grateful for partners like Hotel Phoenix who are intentional about hiring from within the community and investing in the people who live here. That kind of commitment makes a real, lasting impact.

More connections, more opportunities, more wins for the Westside!
