It would be easier if I actually knew someone who lived in NYC who could overnight me a giant bag of this stuff. June 26th is fast approaching, doing all the “little things” to be ready! Weeeeee

I will say, this can be relaxing. ☺️

They do this because it makes a difference, not for a pat on the back. Shoutout and bravo to you all! 🙌

When a young girl's bicycle was destroyed in an accident today, our firefighters knew they wanted to help. Thanks to their generosity, we were able to surprise her with a brand new bike and helmet to put a smile back on her face. Throughout the year our employees hold fundraisers to build our community outreach fund, which supports donations like this one. Thank you to Waterloo Firefighters IAFF L66 for planning these fundraisers and to everyone that contributes - It's not often that we're able to turn a resident's bad day into a better one!
