This week is Volunteer Appreciation Week, and we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible heart behind Ankeny Angels ❤

To our coaches, helpers, parents, and behind-the-scenes supporters - thank you! You are the reason our athletes get to train, compete, and experience the joy of Special Olympics sports in a space filled with encouragement, inclusion, and community. Because of you, our athletes don’t just play sports, they build confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories. Your time, patience, and kindness make every practice and every event something truly special.

Ankeny Angels is completely powered by volunteers, and every hour you give helps create opportunities that change lives on and off the field. We see you. We appreciate you. And we are so grateful for you. 💛 Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week to the amazing humans who make it all possible.

We will have soccer skills practice today! If you want to participate in the soccer skills competition at state - YOU NEED TO BE AT PRACTICE TODAY TO GET YOUR TIMES/SCORES - see you there!

Practice is at the same place as track & field practice - Prarie Ridge Middle School Track/Field behind the tennis courts & baseball fields.

No track or soccer practice tonight (4/16). We will resume next week. Soccer skills will be in full swing and you will need to attend so we can get scores to submit on Friday.
