Happy Pride Month, fam!

Pride is a celebration, but more importantly, it is resistance! We need YOU to demonstrate your allyship or give back to your LGBTQ+ community by showing up to our events this month. Volunteering is seriously the best antidote because you build connections, restore your personal agency, and make a meaningful, and tangible difference in your community, especially the lives of our q***r youth.

Pride Month is around the corner and Ankeny Pride has something for everyone as we celebrate our 5th year! Mark your calendars-

🌈We kick off the first weekend with our FREE annual Ankeny Pride Rainbow Run and Shop with Pride: Dungeon's Gate (Dungeon's Gate) both on Sat. June 6. Register at ankenypride.org.

🌈Then we Flow with Pride at The District with YogaSix and Outside Scoop on Wed. June 10. FREE - no registration needed.

🌈Then it's time to strut our stuff at the Capital City Pride Parade, and we need YOU to sign up to walk with us at ankenypride.org.

🌈While you are there, go ahead and sign up for one of our many volunteer opportunities at the 5th Annual Ankeny Pride.

Can't wait to celebrate q***r joy in the suburbs with y'all!

This isn’t a race — it’s a fun, family-friendly event where you can run, walk, roll, bike, strut, or stroll down the High Trestle Trail in solidarity. All ages and abilities are welcome, and rainbow gear is highly encouraged! 🏳️‍🌈✨
