Partners in Child Development’s Early Intervention team was proud to recently be part of Lowell Pride at DCR Lowell Heritage State Park.

Cara McAuliffe, Family Support Specialist, and Sasha Quinones, Developmental Specialist, attended the event to connect with families, community partners and neighbors while sharing information about Early Intervention supports and services.

Thank you to the Greater Lowell Health Alliance for sponsoring this meaningful community event and creating a welcoming space to celebrate, connect and share resources.

“Good job, Teddy.”

Fathers supporting their child’s development starts from the very first words.

Teddy was so proud counting his magnets, and hearing Dad cheer him on made the moment even sweeter. The patience, the support, and the joy found in the little things are memories that last a lifetime.

Happy Father’s Day to our amazing dads.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the last day of school at Anderson School!

Our students had a fun and memorable day on Wednesday with a special visit from Andover Fire Rescue and time spent helping bring our new Anderson School garden to life. From seeing the fire truck up close to being part of a special new addition to our school community, it was a day full of excitement, learning, and joy.

Thank you to the Andover Fire Department for making the day so special, and congratulations to our Anderson School students and staff on a great school year!

Please join us in celebrating Kim Briggs on her retirement after 25 wonderful years with Partners in Child Development!

Kim’s story with PCD is especially meaningful. She first came to us as a parent when her child was enrolled in our Early Intervention program. She later joined the PCD team as a speech-language pathologist, supporting children and families in our preschool program and then continuing her work in Early Intervention.

Over the past 25 years, Kim has brought compassion, expertise, warmth, and dedication to so many children, families, and colleagues. Her work has made a lasting impact, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and commitment she has shared with our community.

Kim is retiring to spend more time with her family and her new granddaughter. While we will miss her greatly, we are so happy for her as she begins this next chapter.

Congratulations, Kim, and thank you for everything you have given to PCD! 💙

Early Intervention Services can make a meaningful difference not only for a child, but for the entire family.

In this personal reflection, one father shares his family’s journey with Partners in Child Development after noticing early concerns with his son Ben’s development, eating, and communication. Through coaching, practical strategies, and support woven into daily routines, Ben began building confidence, using short phrases, engaging more with others, and advocating for himself.

One bedtime moment said it all: “Daddy, I need a hug.”

This story is a powerful reminder that development is not a race. Small steps, steady support, and early connection can help children and families grow together.

More moments from the 2026 New England Solidarity Ride!

We are still feeling grateful for the support shown by the Local 103 Riding Club, Golden Eagle Lodge, the riders, and everyone who came out for this special event.

Beyond the ride itself, this day was about community, connection, and raising awareness for the children and families supported by Partners in Child Development. Every show of support helps strengthen our mission and reminds us how powerful it is when people come together for a meaningful cause.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event such a memorable one!
