MVA had a phenomenal coaching session with Karen Breidert on 8/13. Karen is a treasure in the SUI/SAI world. And MVA is so very excited to bring 6 Certified Directors to the international contest stage in October: Terry N, Marian M, Sally J, Carol S, our newest CD Becky K and Mary O. Thank you Karen B!

What a great day of music and learning and FUN! A huge THANK YOU to Di and Pam for bringing their expertise and sense of humor, of course, to MVA. We love you and appreciate all you do for us especially in our preparation for International. And you may notice a couple of “newbies” on our risers. A heartfelt thank you to Terry and Kay who will be joining us in Columbus. Your beautiful voices add sparkle to our sound. We love you, ladies!

We recently had a phenomenal coaching session with our good friend Di Porsch. Di is the master director of Buffalo Gateway Chorus and Certified Visual Communication judge. Missing 5 members, but happy for 2 new dual members, Terry N and Kay B. Looking forward to the international stage in October! And thanks to guest Pam C for another set of ears and eyes!

Congratulations to our very own Becky King for completing the last part of the DCP! She taught and directed her song like a pro! Everyone at MVA is so proud of her! A big THANK YOU to Carole' Mensing for her guidance with all of the evaluators. It was a great night! AND last week we were so happy to get a visit from a former member, Marie Green. Marie sings with Scottsdale Chorus now, but she always drops in whenever she is visiting back east. 💕
