New faces at Ironstone Farm! 🐴💕 We are thrilled to officially announce our four newest members of our herd, hailing all the way from Pennsylvania! When their therapeutic riding center announced it was closing, we jumped at the chance to give them a new home here at Ironstone.

Today we're starting small (literally) with the first two. Please join us in welcoming Tigger and Maizy!

Maizy is an 8-year-old miniature horse (the very first to join the Ironstone family!) standing at just 7 hands high. She's already making waves with her sassy charm and her ability to steal the show in any program she's been a part of.

While her best bud Tigger isn't a mini on paper, he sure is close! At just 10 hands high, this 14-year-old friend is already beloved for his sweet, comforting personality and his eager-to-please attitude.

We can't wait for you all to meet them and see the lives they will change. They'll be ready to shine at our Trick-or-Treat at Ironstone Farm event on Sunday, October 25 from 3:00-5:30 pm!

Horses notice everything. They pick up on your posture, your breathing, and your mood before you say a word, and they respond honestly. 🐴

That’s a big part of why equine-assisted programs work so well with kids. Spending time with a horse gives them a reason to slow down, breathe, and figure out how to communicate without talking. Over time, that tends to build confidence, make big feelings easier to handle, and help kids trust themselves a little more.

This rider was getting back in the saddle after a long break. Whether it’s a first visit or a return to something they used to love, watching that first ride is a beautiful reminder of why we do this. 💚

Our first WOD for a Cause is in the books! 💪🐴

Huge thanks to our friends at CrossFit Free for kicking off the weekend by sweating it out for a great cause. Together, this incredible community raised more than $3,000 dollars for Ironstone Farm!

Sunshine, sweat, and smiles all around. ☀️

A special thank you to Brandon Peterson and Brittany Cody for the vision, energy, and commitment that made this morning such a success, and for believing so deeply in our mission.

We loved every minute, and something tells us this is just the beginning! 😉

Meet our rider of the month, Lila! 🌟 At just four years old, Lila is already showing us how much can happen when therapy feels like fun.

Lila was diagnosed with ZC4H2 Associated Rare Disorders (ZARD), an ultra-rare neurological and neuromuscular disorder, when she was just three weeks old. As she grew, her mom, Teresa, was determined to find an activity to help Lila build the strength and balance she needed while keeping her motivated.

That’s where Ironstone Farm came in! Over the past two years, weekly riding sessions have done wonders for her strength, balance, motor skills, and beyond. And the best part? Lila is having so much fun that she doesn’t even realize how hard she’s working! 😊

What a night at Ironstone Farm!🤩 Our Spirit of Giving supporters came together for a pre-gala celebration, and it was everything we hoped for. We loved gathering familiar faces and new friends, celebrating this year's honoree, Gregg Bonheur, and letting our therapy ponies steal a little bit of the spotlight (as always).

A huge thank you to Lenzi's for the wonderful food, and to everyone who came out to make the evening so special. The energy you brought is exactly what's carrying us into Gala night. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all soon! ✨🐴
