Organization History
Chinese American Association of the Andovers (CAAA) is a non-profit organization of Andover and North Andover. Our mission
is to promote participation in community development by Chinese American residents in Andover and North Andover, and promote advancement in education, culture, public services, and other local community affairs in the Andovers. In 1985, a group of Andover Chinese residents felt the need to promote the Chinese Culture, and founded Andover Chinese Culture Exchange (ACCE). For thirty years the organization has helped generations of Chinese integrate in Andover. In 2016, the organization revamped and changed the name to current Chinese American Association of the Andovers (CAAA), included much more members, and to a greater degree contributes to the community of Andover. Today, CAAA proudly welcomes all the people who is interested in local Chinese culture, activities, and community engagements. We provide services to help Chinese community work together on culture, education, public service, and other local affairs; we also provide opportunities for both Chinese and non-Chinese residents to work together on community building, exchange, and communications.
