Know a group of Anchorage youth with a big idea? πŸ’‘

Here are reflections from last year's Youth Matter Grants, which put funding directly into the hands of young people to design and lead projects that matter to them and their communities.

We're now accepting applications for the next cycle. Apply by October 25!

This year, we're especially interested in projects focused on:
βœ… Youth mental health
βœ… Su***de prevention
βœ… Protective factors: the things that help young people stay well, like close friendships, a trusted adult, feeling connected at school, having somewhere to belong, and having something they're good at

Questions? Join our info session on Tuesday, October 6. Learn more at aydc.org.

The Center for Safe Alaskans seeks its next Executive Director to carry forward a legacy of evidence-based public health work, injury prevention, and youth development across Alaska. Following the planned retirement of its longtime Executive Director, Safe Alaskans is well positioned for this transition: financially stable, trusted by partners across Alaska and beyond, and home to a committed team that is widely regarded as the organization's greatest strength.
