Calling all current and prospective judges! Join us for the annual Judge's Training next Friday, October 16th from 12-5 pm.

This is an in service day, so no school! But we will have a fun and informative training aimed at helping members feel confident and prepared for their time spent serving as a judge behind the bench.

All members who are currently judging but have not ever completed an in-depth judge's training must attend in order to continue taking cases as a judge, so be sure to join us! We will also take the annual judge's photo like the throw back one pictured here from 2009!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Jessica Wright as our October Bar Meeting guest speaker! Jessica spoke about her journey growing up in Anchorage, working in politics before heading into law school, and why she chose to return to this community to practice in Stoel Rives’ Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources section. We are thrilled to also welcome Jessica to the AYC Board of Directors and continuing working with her going forward ⚖️
