We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays, plus a Saturday adventure outing or event such as Raingutter Regatta, Pinewood Derby, ice fishing, hiking, etc. Pack 123 is a family Cub Scout pack in south Anchorage, chartered through the Great Alaska Council. We welcome boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade, and we encourage parents to get involved during meetings. Cub Scouting is built around dens, a small group for each grade level. Scouts work through age-appropriate adventures, earn rank and belt loops, and get outside as much as Alaska weather allows. Every den is led by a parent volunteer, and there is always room for another set of hands. We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, September through May, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at St. The 1st Monday is a den meeting, where scouts work in their own dens. The 3rd Monday is a pack meeting, where everyone comes together. Each month we also have a Saturday adventure outing, such as hiking or ice fishing, or an event such as Raingutter Regatta or Pinewood Derby. Siblings are always welcome to join us for these. We welcome ideas for new adventures too. We work closely with Troop 210, which also meets at St. John on Monday evenings, so scouts have a natural next step when they finish Cub Scouts. Pack 123 is not affiliated with St. John United Methodist Church, though the church has hosted our meetings and Troop 210's for many decades and we are incredibly grateful for it. Scouts can join at any point in the year. We would love to have you visit and check it out! Register with Pack 123: https://beascout.scouting.org/units/07C71096-9B9A-4FD5-BE9E-96087A1DC427
