All Alaska Pediatric Partnership

Last week, members of the A2P2 team traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with Alaska's congressional delegation. We sat down with Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senator Dan Sullivan(not pictured), and their staff to share updates on how All Alaska Pediatric Partnership and its programs, like Help Me Grow Alaska, are supporting kids, families, and providers across the state. We also met with Kim Kovol, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tribal Affairs at the Administration for Children and Families - ACF.

Across each conversation, we shared what's working in Alaska communities, what families are telling us they need, and how we can partner to support Alaska's families and the programs that serve them.

Executive Director Tamar Ben-Yosef and Director of Programs Carmen Wenger were joined by A2P2 Board members Dr. Matt Hirschfeld (Southcentral Foundation/ Native Medical Center), Matt Findley (Ashburn & Mason, P.C.), Meg Horvath (Providence AlaskaChildren's Hospital & Women's Services), and Dr. Bruce Hess (Ptarmigan Pediatrics, LLC).

Thank you to Senator Murkowski, Senator Sullivan, Deputy Assistant Secretary Kim Kovol, and their teams for taking the time to learn about our work and for connecting us with partners who can help support it. We're grateful for leaders who show up for Alaska's children.
