Meet Kiwi! 🐾💕

Kiwan eight-week-old husky mix from the “bird litter” that came to us from Kotzebue. She’s an absolute sweetie who loves being close to her people and playing hard!

Kiwi has been sleeping through the night in a kennel with her sister and is making great progress with potty training, with just the occasional puppy “oops!”

Kiwi is curious about EVERYTHING, so until she learns her boundaries, she’ll need someone to keep a close eye on her so she doesn’t roam. She’s a confident little girl overall, but big dogs barking spook her a bit. Although, that has improved a lot in the short time she’s been with her foster family.

Judging by those paws, Kiwi may be on the larger side 🐾

Sweet, playful, curious, and cuddly, Kiwi is ready to find a family of her own. ❤️ If you think she might be the one for you, fill out an application at

💔 Why is this sweet girl still waiting? We truly cannot believe Sanka hasn’t found her forever home.

She has been in our program since February, and somehow this sweet girl keeps getting overlooked while others go home. Everyone is seriously sleeping on one of the BEST puppies. 🥹💔

Sanka is about 7 months old and the total package:
✨ quiet
✨ playful
✨ cuddly
✨ crate trained
✨ working on potty training like a champ

She’s the kind of puppy who doesn’t demand the spotlight, which might be exactly why she keeps getting passed by. She’s a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she is all snuggles, soft puppy eyes, and happy playtime.

She loves being outside, enjoys playing, and then settles in for the sweetest cuddles. Truly just a great puppy who deserves so much more attention than she’s gotten.

Please help us change her story. Share this post so Sanka’s person can finally find her. Her forever family has to be out there somewhere. ❤️🐾

🚨 STOP SCROLLING. THIS FLOOF NEEDS YOU. 🚨
Meet Salmonberry 🍓🐾
3 months old. Medium-sized Aussie mix. 100% certified cloud with legs.
Like… look at her.
The floof. The face. The tiny baby eyes that say “please pick me” 🥹
Salmonberry is everything you want in a puppy:
✨ Soft enough to double as a blanket
✨ Playful, happy, and full of wiggles
✨ Sweet, snuggly, and full of sass

She’s at that perfect age where she’s ready to bond with her person and grow into your best friend for life. But here’s the thing…
💔 She needs a home ASAP.
Puppies this cute shouldn’t be waiting. And somehow… she still is. Let’s fix that.

📅 Come meet her at our next adoption event

Lena has been through a lot already, but you’d never know it from the way she melts for belly rubs ❤️

This sweet 1-year-old shepherd mix from Bethel is healing from a facial wound and still greets everyone with kindness, tail wags, and gentle eyes. She’s good with dogs, kids, and people, walks great on leash, and food motivated.

She’s still learning who she is in a home environment, but one thing is already clear — Lena deserves a soft place to land.

Come meet Lena and the rest of our adoptable dogs and puppies at our adoption event tomorrow from 12–3 🐾

🐾 BIG DOG. BIG PAWS. EVEN BIGGER HEART. 🐾

Meet Dutch — an Akita/St. Bernard mix born March 22, 2025, and professionally trained in giving slobbery kisses and world-class snuggles. ❤️

Dutch is the definition of a gentle giant. He loves people, adores other dogs, and is even cat friendly! He has a low-to-medium energy level, so while he enjoys walks and playtime, he’s also perfectly happy lounging around the house binge-watching TV with you.

This handsome guy is house trained, great for nail trims, and has amazing manners for his size — no jumping on people here! He walks nicely on leash, though if he spots another dog, don’t be surprised if he gets excited and tries to pull over just to make a new friend. (He’s basically the social butterfly of the dog world.) 🐶✨

Dutch isn’t crate trained yet, but he does wonderfully left out in the home with the TV on. He’s not afraid of water, knows “sit,” and would gladly accept payment in cuddles and attention.

If you’ve been searching for a loyal best friend who looks intimidating but is actually just a giant baby, Dutch is ready to steal your couch — and your heart. 🐻🤎

Meet him at our adoption clinic in Anchorage this Sunday!

Right now, puppies like these are waiting for someone to say “yes” to giving them a safe place to land. Just a little while. Just enough time to help them get healthy, grow up, and find forever families. ❤️

Fostering saves lives — and we make it as easy as possible.
🐾 Food provided
🐾 Supplies included
🐾 Medical covered
🐾 You provide the love

Even a few weeks changes everything for a rescue dog. And honestly, there’s nothing better than watching a scared dog or sleepy little puppy start to feel safe.

We desperately need more fosters willing to open their homes. If you’ve ever thought about it, this is your sign.

❄️ Meet Snowflake!! ❄️

We would like to formally announce that Snowflake is suffering from a very serious condition called *looking way bigger in photos than she actually is.* 😂

In real life? She’s a tiny little short-legged nugget — only about 15-20 lbs of pure sweetness.

✔️ Potty trained
✔️ Kennel trained
✔️ Car ride professional
✔️ Good with kids
✔️ Loves other dogs
✔️ Compact size for maximum cuddle efficiency

Basically, if you’ve been searching for the perfect little sidekick who can keep up on adventures *and* fit perfectly on your couch, Snowflake is your girl. 🐶❄️

She’s sweet, easygoing, and ready to charm her way straight into her forever home. Someone come scoop up this pocket-sized snow angel before we decide to keep her ourselves. 🤍

We’d like everyone to know that this tiny spotted menace has absolutely no business being this cute. 🤍🖤🤎

Meet Summer. At first she’s all:
🥺 “Who me? I’m just a shy little baby…”

And then 15 minutes later:
🌪️ zoomies
🌪️ demands snacks
🌪️ stealing toys from dogs twice her size

This 3-month-old village mix pup is a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her hilarious spitfire personality comes flying out. We suspect there’s some Aussie in the mix because this girl is SMART and BUSY and always plotting something adorable.
