AKNWRC’s Law, Policy, and Tribal Justice department is currently hiring a law-trained professional to serve as our Law, Policy, and Tribal Justice Specialist Intern. The Law, Policy, and Tribal Justice Specialist Intern will provide technical assistance to Alaska Tribes on sovereignty issues; draft and review Tribal codes and policies; provide expert-level technical assistance to the Tribe statewide; and assist with sophisticated policy development initiatives. Candidates located in the State of Alaska are strongly preferred, and graduation from an ABA accredited school is required.
