On June 6, 1944, under the command of General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Allied forces launched Operation Overlord, the largest amphibious invasion in history.

By dawn, thousands of paratroopers had already landed behind enemy lines, followed by waves of troops storming the beaches of Normandy under heavy German fire.

Despite fierce resistance, especially at Omaha Beach, the Allies secured a foothold in France, marking the beginning of the liberation of Western Europe during World War II.

The Team is busy as always ! Doing community out reaches, self and buddy rescue classes, talking about life jacket use, boating safety, etc.

Today we will be at the Pacific Northern Academy Summer Camp talking about Remotely Operated Vehicles, Life Jacket use, etc.

Then we will be at the Get Moving Mat-Su event showing of more equipment and cheering on the racers. All funds raised by Get Moving Mat-Su will be going to the Team this year to help support our mission and team.

We still need you help raising funds or donations to replace a critical piece of mission safety equipment our Remotely operated Vehicle (ROV). The unit is $200k and we have generous donor willing to match up to $50k. Any donation helps and gets us closer to getting the unit replaced.

We have done a lot of work doing repairs to the boat and trailer since returning from Haines, all to insure we are ready for the next mission. We still need to replace one more brake caliper and it will be ready to respond again.

We are still need of donation to replace our mission critical ROV. We have a generous donator willing to match up to $50k, which would help us a lot in getting to the needed $200k to replace the unit. We have several fundraising events coming up the net one on June 20th in Anchor Point. That event will have a lot of things raffled off and all you need to do it purchase tickets by phone or text. You dont even need to be present to win.
