Our summer adventures continue! Join Troop AK-6335 for an exciting campout at South Rolly and Nancy Lake this Friday, Aug. 21, through Saturday, Aug. 22. We'll spend the weekend enjoying God's creation through swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, cooking over an open fire, and plenty of fellowship around camp. Hey, Trailmen! We’re recruiting, and we need your help! 🫵 We need as many Trailmen in uniform and families as possible to help with our Open House with American Heritage Girls and Trail Life at Mountain City Church on Monday, Aug. 31. Volunteers should arrive at 5:30 p.m. There will be stations throughout the church, as we show attendees what it means to be a Trailman with Troop AK-6335.

Volunteer to hand out fliers and popsicles, and chat with people about Trail Life USA in uniform at Summer Bright Nights this Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 6–6:45 p.m. on the back field behind Mountain City Church. — Bring Your Own Bike, that is! 🚲 Troop-AK 6335 is biking the Coastal Trail!

Meet us at Westchester Lagoon on Monday, Aug. 3 at 5:30 p.m. We’ll bike towards the airport/Kincaid Park until the group decides to turn around. Bring a few dollars for the snack shack at Westchester afterwards. Families and friends are encouraged to join!

⛰ Troop-AK 6335 is back for the summer! Join us for the first outing of the season at Eklutna Lake on Saturday, May 23. We'll be meeting in the main parking area by the outhouses/fee area at 10 a.m. for a hike around the lake. Please RSVP, and be sure to arrive on time, since there is little to no cell phone reception. Group contacts and full details available on the dashboard: traillifeconnect.com/dashboard.

🚴 Then, on May 25, we'll meet at Mountain City Church for a Memorial Day bike around Goose Lake and have some s'mores! Meet at 5:30 p.m. and ride round-trip to the lake and back to the church. Plan to eat before the bike ride!

Families are welcome to join us for both of these excursions.

Troop AK-6335, you've earned it! 🎖 Join us this evening for our end-of-year ceremony upstairs in Room 207. We're excited to celebrate our Trailmen and recognize their hard work!

Please note, we're planning to start the flag ceremony promptly at 5:30 p.m. to ensure there is plenty of time for the awards portion. Food from Hula Hands will be provided.

Hey, Trailmen! Like last week, we're allowing some make-up time for those who have fallen behind or missed meetings to catch up and earn awards before our end-of-year ceremony. Tonight is also the awards ceremony for American Heritage Girls, so we may be a bit leaner.
