Week 6 Day 4
The most fun, yet saddest, day of camp….our last day!!! We’re excited to have some free summer time before school starts back up, but after spending 6 weeks with these camp kids, it’s hard to see it end.
As always, YOU GUY ROCK and helped make this day extra special! The 65ft inflatable obstacle course was an absolute hit with everyone! Sadly the heat decided to show up again and we had it inside, but it’s way more fun to not be dripping with sweat! Once again, Paragon came through with their snow cone machine which helped keep us cool today. We also have a big shout out to the Collins fire department for stopping by and offering a quick cool off with the help of their truck! The kids LOVED that! We ended the day with some colored powder for our 2 high school volunteers (Luke and Reagan….you guys are rock stars!!!! We can’t wait to have you back), and to end it, every kid got some silly string (thanks Oaks family) to get their leaders with! There will be LOTS of photos coming in a couple of posts. Thanks to the custodians, kitchen staff, & our bus driver Doug for the daily help, and to the volunteers who helped make our last day so special! It takes a village and I’m blessed to work with the best one ever! 🩷 See ya next year!!!

Big thanks to Maxwell Public Library for bringing us such wonderful programs! We love getting to have a week full of entertainment during our final week. Today’s show was the Science Heros. They brought us some great science experiments and taught us all about science! We also got a super special treat!! One of our kiddos wrote her own play, held auditions, printed scripts, hosted rehearsals, and today performed it for all of us! So proud of her creativity! Well done Madalynn!!
