Another Great Year at the Ames Fly-In! 💙

A huge thank you to the Ames Municipal Airport and the Ames Police Department for partnering with us to host this year’s Ames Fly-In and helping make this long-standing community tradition possible! ✈️

We are especially grateful to our presenting sponsors—Availa Bank, Discover Ames, and Woodruff Construction—for their continued support and commitment to this event and the Ames community.

Thank you as well to all additional sponsors and partners who helped bring the Fly-In to life, including Scooter's Coffee, which kept guests fueled throughout the morning, and a very special thank you to Omaha Street Percussion for bringing incredible live entertainment and energy to the event! 🎶

Proceeds from this year’s event benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County and the Ames Police Benefit Association, supporting meaningful programs and services right here in our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at this year’s Ames Fly-In at the Ames Municipal Airport! ✈️🥞 We’re grateful for the public’s support and for helping make this event possible year after year. It’s an honor to help host this community tradition alongside our partners and bring a morning of aviation, food, and family fun to Ames.

Guests enjoyed all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, and coffee, with more than 5,450 pancakes served, 2,800 sausages served, and 450 cups of coffee poured!

We truly appreciate everyone who came out, participated, and supported the event!💙

The countdown is on! Join us this Saturday at the Ames Municipal Airport for a morning packed with pancakes, planes, family fun, and memorable experiences - all while supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County and the Ames Police Benefit Association. 💙

Enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, explore emergency and service vehicles, enjoy live entertainment from Omaha Street Percussion, and take in breathtaking views with a 15-minute airplane ride!

First Day of Summer Club = Garden Day! 🌱☀️

We kicked off the first day of Summer Club by planting and decorating pots, exploring gardening, and helping fill our new garden beds! 🌼🌷

A huge thank you to the Ames Home Builders Association and its members for helping to build our new garden beds, and to United Way of Story County for providing the funding that made this project possible. 💙

We’re looking forward to all the fun memories Summer Club will bring! 🏖

A fun hands-on treat that brought plenty of smiles 🍦💙

At the Ames club, ice cream in a bag was a quick and delicious science experiment using simple pantry ingredients, ice, and Ziploc bags to create soft-serve ice cream in just minutes! A perfect mix of learning and fun, bringing creativity, connection, and a lighthearted moment to the day. ☀️✨
