Papa's Pizzeria was the destination for the dinner ride, August 9. Temperature in Polk City was 88 degrees with heat index of 105 degrees. Winds were WSW 5 mph 70% humidity and dew point 77 degrees, hazy skies. 4 bikes and 6 riders. Come out and join us for the breakfast ride on the 23rd.

The Legion Riders were honored to lead 4th of July parade again this year and we had a nice group of riders. We had 6 bikes and 6 riders. We also had Tina and Pam following pulling a wagon and giving out candy and we can't forget Ronette and Jim in the Jeep! Thank you for everyone who came out.

Sunday we did our July Breakfast ride and the destination was Cayennes in Woodward.
We had: 6 bikes and 9 riders. We rode 43 miles.
It was: 78 degrees and felt like of 82 degrees with
77% humidity and a dew point of 70.
A fun time was had by all. Come check out our dinner and breakfast rides in August.

Hello Riders, Just a reminder that the Riders will be participating in the Ames 4th of July parade. Please be in place no later than 10:30 am, the parade steps out at 11. I will lead the group this year as Doug, Cliff and several other will be participating in the Sojourn 250 Ride in DC. Hope to see you all there for the parade!

We are in STAGING AREA 1, on the 500 block of Main Street, beginning at Clark and Main. Your group will line up in the parking spots next to The Shops at Clark and Main. Please enter through the barricade at 5th St and Grand Ave. THIS IS THE ONLY BARRICADE YOU WILL BE ALLOWED THROUGH. From there you will turn right on Pearle Avenue then left on Main Street. A map is attached to guide you to the correct location.
