How can communities strengthen local food systems after disaster?

Our latest video from the Agricultural Marketing Resource Center (AgMRC) highlights the work taking place in Marshall County, Iowa, where ISU Extension and Outreach staff, Master Gardener volunteers and community partners came together to improve food access following the 2018 tornado, the 2020 derecho and the challenges of COVID-19.

The video showcases how collaboration led to community donation gardens and a network of little free pantries, demonstrating how local partnerships can help build more resilient food systems.
