Ames Scleroderma Support Group Welcome to the Ames Scleroderma Support Group Page. We will meet the second Tuesday of every other month. Our meetings will run 6:30pm-8:30pm.

The Scleroderma Foundation's Mission is threefold:

SUPPORT helps patients and their families cope with scleroderma through mutual support programs, peer counseling, physician referrals and educational information. EDUCATION promotes public awareness and education through patient and health professional seminars, literature and publicity campaigns. RESEARCH stimulates and supports efforts to improve treatment and ultimately find the cause and cure for scleroderma and related diseases.

General information

The Ames Scleroderma Support Group is open to anyone affected by scleroderma. That means that if you were diagnosed with any form of scleroderma or you care for, you love or are friends with anyone diagnosed with any form of scleroderma; then this group is for you. We will have open discussions and occasional guest speakers to educate you about scleroderma and be a resource for you regarding scleroderma.
