BILD is working to develop the next generation of church leaders to sustain the global network and continue to carry out Christ's plan for the Church around the world. James Haila, a local third-generation leader, recently joined Michael and Jeff on an international trip. He was able to join in meetings with strategic network partners and celebrate the achievements of those who completed certificates in developmental pathways. The 2026 BILD Global Summit is a wrap. Another year of amazing leaders coming together to share, learn, and work together. We are so thankful to everyone that puts in time and effort to make this event happen. More than that we are thankful to get to be a part of what God is doing through these leaders all around the world!

In November and December, James Riley had the opportunity to visit two of our Latin American Partner Networks, where he worked closely with their leaders and church networks. Both trips not only provided encouragement but also sparked significant momentum as we look toward 2026.
The November trip took James to Dallas, where he joined the El Camino Iberoamerica gathering and celebration. Over four days, leaders from 10 countries engaged in dynamic discussions and workshops on building and sustaining a complex network of churches.
In December, James traveled to the Dominican Republic to visit Red Bendición, a vibrant Latin American network of churches. There, he met with leaders from 12 countries, all united in their commitment to building churches that embody New Testament values and to expanding their reach through new networks. The sessions were filled with practical strategy-building, open dialogue, and mutual encouragement. Each leader thoughtfully evaluated their own progress and outlined actionable steps to deepen the development of their churches and plant more connected churches.

Another round of celebrations was recently held in India to acknowledge the hard work of establishment being done by local leaders. In Pune, 183 certificates were awarded as well as 5 Antioch School degrees. In Bangalore, 116 certificates were awarded and 3 Antioch School degrees. The work accomplished and what it will mean for the progress of their networks is exciting.

A second round of working workshops recently came to a close. There were 759 registered participants, 88% of which made progress in a developmental pathway, and 67 certificates were earned. Numbers alone don't tell the whole story, but they do represent the work of leaders around the world working to become better equipped to lead their churches.
On the heels of this dedicated time of work and development, a couple of celebrations will be held in India at which the certificates earned will be awarded.

In July, BILD hosted 10- day online working workshops. The sessions were led by local leaders in native languages. The workships allowed for dedicated time for the leaders to progress in their assigned development pathways under the guidance of a local leader. More than 1200 church and church network leaders participated and much progress was made.
