Iowa Young Bird­ers is ded­i­cated to encour­ag­ing all young per­sons who are inter­ested in learn­ing more about the excit­ing world of bird­ing. Whether you are new to the sport or already have a large check­list of birds you’ve iden­ti­fied, this is the place for you! We had a great evening hike at Lime Creek Nature Center/Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board! Unfortunately, the woodcocks didn’t make an appearance but we heard our first Chorus Frogs of the year as well as a Barred Owl and had fantastic looks at a pair of Buffleheads on the pond.
