A box of food can make a real difference.

Eligible older adults receive monthly boxes filled with nutritious staples including canned fruits and vegetables, grains, protein sources, and other pantry essentials.

Beyond the food itself, distribution days are also a chance to connect with neighbors, volunteers, and community resources.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, Heartland of Story County can help determine eligibility and provide information about upcoming distribution dates.

The Bistro is now featuring bakery items from Bakery.

One of our favorite things about serving food is being able to work with local producers who care deeply about what they create. the greens on our salads come from Clayton Farms Salads (). Supporting this community of talented foodies and sharing those curated items with you is such a pleasure.

Stop by and see what we are featuring today!

Father’s Day looks a little different at every stage of life.

Lawn chairs in the driveway. Early mornings. Bad jokes that somehow get repeated for thirty years. Quiet reliability. Showing up.

Wishing a good Father’s Day to the dads, granddads, stepdads, and father figures who have shaped families, friendships, and communities.

here’s something about the first real stretch of summer that changes the rhythm a little.

Longer days.
Summer Solstice.
Evening walks.
Morning coffee on the patio.

People stay out later. Windows open back up. Schedules loosen just enough to make room for the things we forget we missed all winter.

Cheers to summer.
