🥕🥔 From Garden to Table! 🌱

Our residents enjoyed harvesting fresh potatoes and carrots from the garden! There’s something special about getting your hands dirty, watching something grow, and enjoying the fruits (and veggies!) of your labor.

Next up: turning their fresh harvest into something delicious! 🥕🥔🍽️

🎉 Celebrating some big wins!

We love celebrating the accomplishments of our residents! Recently, we celebrated some exciting milestones at our women’s home - passing a HiSET exam and starting new jobs.

We’re so proud of their hard work, growth, and perseverance. Every step forward is worth celebrating! ❤️

One of the most encouraging parts of this work is seeing the difference we can make in a young person’s life.

One of our former residents recently shared about his experience at Anchored Hope and the difference it made in his life. We’re so thankful God allowed us to be part of his story and that we get to continue being part of it. ❤️

We are so thankful for Kristine, who brought another delicious dinner for everyone to enjoy during Life Skills! She did this for us last month too, and we really appreciate the thoughtfulness and generosity she continues to show our Anchored Hope family. ❤️

For young adults who have experienced foster care, having someone in their corner can make all the difference. At Anchored Hope, we provide a safe place to belong, supportive relationships, and practical support as they navigate the transition to adulthood.

Good food, sticky fingers, and smart savings!
With Jasmine, Food & Nutrition Educator with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, residents learned practical tips to make meal planning easier, save money, and save time with Meal Planning Made Easy!

There was a lot of laughter as residents made tasty Energy Bites—a budget-friendly recipe from Spend Smart. Eat Smart.

Who knew saving money could be this delicious? 😋
