🗣️💬 AAC is important—even after speech! 💬🗣️

Last week at camp, Killian was in the middle of a fun conversation with friends when he hit a little bump, he was trying so hard to remember the name of a fruit, but the words just wouldn’t come.

Even though Killian talks now, we always send his AAC device with him. And this was exactly why.

He went and grabbed his device, and just like that-boom! 💥 He added his two cents: “honeydew” and “cantaloupe.”🍈👏

AAC isn't just for when there's no speech, it’s a tool for all communication. For moments when retrieval is hard. For confidence. For connection. 💛

We’re thrilled to share that our mission is growing! 💬💙

In addition to getting AAC devices and core word lanyards into the hands of non-speaking kids, we’re now **bringing communication to the playground** with *Playground Communication Boards*! 🎠🛝

Because *every* child deserves a voice, even during play. 💬🧸 Whether it’s asking for a turn on the slide, saying “help,” or just saying “hello”, communication should never stop.

Stay tuned as we begin placing these boards in parks across our communities. Let’s build a world where all kids can play, connect, and be heard. 🌍💙
