We're still celebrating the Amarillo International Film Festival 🎬

What a weekend! From film screenings and filmmaker conversations to bringing our community together, we're grateful to everyone who helped make this year's festival a success.

We had film lovers of all ages join us, including our youngest attendee at just 9 days old!

Thank you to all the filmmakers, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who made it happen.

We kicked off the Amarillo International Festival at the Amarillo Museum of Art with a bang! Last night’s VIP celebration set the stage for a weekend full of incredible films, storytelling, and movie magic!

Amarillo had the honor of hosting the Texas State Premiere of Route 66: The Main Street of America at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts!

The evening brought our Route 66 community together to celebrate the people, places and stories keeping America’s most iconic highway alive. Following the screening, filmmaker John Paget joined guests for a special Q&A, sharing even more about the journey behind the film.

As Route 66 celebrates 100 years, we’re proud that Amarillo continues to be part of the story and part of what comes next.
