Afternoon: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Kids, Incorporated of Amarillo is seeking an energetic, dependable, and highly organized individual to join our team as a Program Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced nonprofit environment and values teamwork, integrity, and service excellence.
We are seeking a candidate interested in a long-term position. This position is available immediately.
Position Overview
The Program Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily operations, volunteers, parents, and staff while helping advance the mission of Kids, Incorporated. This individual must be professional, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities at once.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service through courteous, knowledgeable, and professional interactions
Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with volunteers, parents, and staff
Answer and direct phone inquiries professionally
Provide support to volunteers and coaches
Assist with special events, coaches’ meetings, and other mission-centered activities
Support cash handling and basic financial transactions
Manage and maintain database records accurately
Assist with checkout and return of sports equipment
Collaborate with team members to balance priorities and solve problems
Perform other duties as assigned by the President & CEO or designee
Reports to: Director of Operations
Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma
Successful completion of a criminal background check (required for all staff, officials, and volunteers)
Skills & Abilities:
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
High level of professionalism and integrity
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Flexible and adaptable work approach
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Pay: $15 per hour
Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays
