Happy Reformation Sunday! On this day in 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door in Wittenberg, sparking a movement centered on one powerful truth: we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
This week we concluded our journey through Romans with a final warning and a final doxology. Paul urges us to stay grounded in the gospel of grace, avoiding the twin dangers of legalism and antinomianism. We are not saved by what we do -- we are saved by what Christ has already done. As Jesus declared in John 19:30, it is finished.
Christ-centered theology always leads to doxology. When we truly grasp how deeply God loves us, our response is worship, gratitude, and a desire to love God and neighbor with everything we have.
