Habitat Lehigh Valley

In 1989 an inspired group of Lehigh Valley citizens began meeting at First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem to form a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity.

Building homes, communities, and hope - and advocating for strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in a world where everyone deserves a decent place to live Working with borrowed space, donated materials and hundreds of volunteer hours, the first Habitat Lehigh Valley home was completed on Pawnee Street in Bethlehem on land donated by an individual. During the next several years, the organization's grass roots efforts began to take long-term shape as a Board of Directors formed, an office was established and staff was hired. Since then, Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley has grown and transformed into an efficient and effective organization, working with more than 100 local families with big dreams, because everyone deserves a decent place to live.

Our 3rd 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝟰 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲 was a great day at Whitetail Golf Club! We had beautiful weather in the low 80s, a quick rain shower that passed through, and plenty of time for good competition, good food and a lot of fun on the course.

🏆 Congratulations to our top Female Team and Co-Ed Team Winners!

From hot dogs and drinks to our Italian buffet, raffles and prizes, it was a great day from start to finish. 𝘼 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝟒-𝙞𝙣-𝟏 𝙖𝙙𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧’𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙡𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙬𝙖𝙜!

We’ll be sharing the final fundraising total soon, but in the meantime, we’re so grateful to everyone who came out, chipped in and helped make this event such a success. ❤️
