Marine Band of Allentown Founded in 1903, the Marine Band of Allentown performs a mix of symphonic, pops, and patriotic music.

The Marine Band will present its final concert of the season this Sunday, Sept. 20, at 7:00 pm at the Active Life Center (1633 Elm St., Allentown). Please note the change in time and location, which is due to the imminent forecast for rain on Sunday. Admission is, of course, free.

Please join us at beautiful West Park in Allentown on Sunday, July 26, at 7:00 pm, for an evening of great music and friendship. Assistant conductor Mitchell Hourt and the band have prepared a very fun and diverse program sure to please all in attendance. The band will perform selections from South Pacific, Percy Grainger's arrangement of Australian Up-Country Tune, Beguine for Flutes, Great Themes from Italian Movies, marches, and more. The forecast looks good, and West Park is a very nice place to spend an evening with family, friends, and strangers. It is at 16th and Linden Sts., and there are plenty of benches; you can also bring chairs or blankets if you prefer, and admission is, of course, free. Hope to see you there!

Unfortunately, there is a threat of rain and storms this evening, so the Midway Manor concert is canceled.

The Marine Band will be at Midway Manor in East Allentown Saturday evening, starting at 6:30 pm. We have a very nice program prepared for you, including a piece called Overture Jubiloso, selections from South Pacific, some of Irving Berlin's greatest songs, patriotic music, and more. Please bring chairs or a blanket. If you don't know where that is, you can use 2020 E. Pennsylvania St., Allentown, 18109, for your GPS. If the weather is iffy, check back here after 4:30; we will try to keep you up to date. Hope to see you there!!

Wow, the forecast for this Friday evening looks perfect for a pleasant, relaxing time enjoying the outdoors. Specifically at beautiful West Park at 16th and Linden Sts. in Allentown. Please join the Marine Band for a concert there at 7:00 pm. Conductor Matt Becker has put together a wonderful program including Americans We, The Entertainer, A Tribute to Sammy Davis, Jr., Basin Street Blues, Tribute to Louis Armstrong, Amazing Grace, Ellington Portrait, and more. Bring chairs or blankets, or use the plentiful benches that are there. Admission is, as always, free. See you there!

Wow, what an amazing weather forecast for Sunday evening. 70 degrees and 0% chance of rain. It will be a great night to spend with the Marine Band of Allentown at beautiful West Park, starting at 7:00.
