We are so thankful to all the student artists and supportive educators, Lehigh University, LU College of Health Dean and judge Beth Dolan, and Lehigh University Art Galleries.

A great amount of this show’s art has already been requested to help inspire and brighten healing facilities.

We are so proud that Heather and the Healing Through The Arts story was featured in the spring issue of Bonus Days magazine. This magazine was created by transplant patient and photographer Alison Conklin as she realized nothing like this existed, and she seeked stories of inspiration and resilience as she worked on her recovery to her new normal life. Heather knows exactly. Her new normal after melanoma became Healing Though The Arts.

Join us! We are so proud of this show and the response of Lehigh Univ students and staff.

On Wednesday, March 19, join us at a Community Reception to celebrate the inspiring works of high school and college students featured in the 15th Annual Hope & Healing Juried Art Show, hosted for the first time at Lehigh University's College of Health.

This special reception will bring together artists, educators, healthcare professionals, and community members to honor the power of art in fostering healing, hope, and connection.

The Hope & Healing exhibition, on view through March 31, showcases 144 submissions from students at 15 different high schools and 3 universities. These young artists have created works that inspire healing and hopefulness in others while exploring their own creativity and mental well-being through the process.

Following the exhibition’s closing, students are invited to donate their work to Healing Through The Arts (HTTA). All donated art is available at no cost to any hospital, doctors’ office, clinic, or healing facility to inspire patients, families, and staff. To date, HTTA has placed art in more than 40 hospitals and healing facilities.

The March 19 reception will feature the presentation of Judges’ Awards, Community Awards, and Baum School of Art scholarships.

This event is free and open to all. Please register in advance at LUAG.org/events to help us plan for your visit.

If you require assistance filling out the registration form, prefer to share your information via email or phone, or have questions about accessibility needs, please contact Elise at [email protected] or call 610-758-6882.
