NEW STUDY TO BEGIN NOVEMBER 1 IN THE SARA HARTING CLASSROOM. We’ll explore John Mark Comer’s book, God Has a Name. What You Believe About God Will Shape Who You Become. We all live at the mercy of our ideas, and nowhere is this more true than our ideas about God. The problem is that many of our ideas about God keep us from fully knowing him. God Has a Name guides us line by line through Exodus 34v6-8 – God's self- revelation of his inner nature on Mount Sinai – so we can commune with God in light of what God’s self-revelation tells us. The study includes the practice of contemplation, including an exploration of three doorways into contemplation in our distracted digital world. As we learn to gaze deeply at God, the moments we find ourselves “looking” at God become the most joyful and peaceful of our day – and some of the most transformative moments in our lives. See you Sunday mornings at 9:15! Books available now to prepare!
