Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost to overdose and the families, friends, and communities forever changed by those losses.

This year marks 25 years of International Overdose Awareness Day. Its message remains as important as ever: overdose is preventable, and every life is worth saving.

At IBH Addiction Recovery, we see every day that hope, healing, and recovery are possible. By reducing stigma, talking openly about addiction, and making compassionate, evidence-based treatment and support accessible, we can help more people find a path to recovery.

Meet Briana Bourne, Counselor at IBH Addiction Recovery.

As a Counselor, Briana provides clinical services to individuals participating in our outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, including those experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals, Briana helps provide the individualized support and care clients need as they move forward in healing and recovery.

For Briana, one of the things that makes IBH Addiction Recovery special is the people. “Everyone at IBH is so welcoming! I have never worked for an agency where everyone was so supportive and helpful to new staff!”

We’re glad to have Briana as part of the IBH Addiction Recovery team and appreciate the care and commitment she brings to the people we serve.

There are times when creating distance from the pressures of everyday life can create space to focus on what matters most: healing and recovery.

Set on a peaceful, secluded campus along the shores of Portage Lakes, IBH Addiction Recovery provides an environment where individuals can focus on their health, build new skills, and begin creating a foundation for lasting recovery.

Residential treatment is just one part of the comprehensive care available through IBH Addiction Recovery. Individualized treatment, clinical support, recovery housing, outpatient services, and ongoing recovery resources work together to meet people where they are and support them as their needs change.

If you or someone you care about is exploring treatment options, help is available.

You can come in for a walk-in assessment at our Firestone Park Outpatient & Aftercare facility during the designated hours or contact the admissions team by phone at 330.644.4095.
