For some time, we have wanted to publicly recognize Mr. Jr Santos, a former SPD Technician at Sidra Medicine in Qatar, for his professional dedication and commitment to sterile processing excellence.

However, in respect of institutional policies, workplace regulations, and professional boundaries, we chose to exercise discretion and refrain from making a public announcement during his employment.

Day 1 was a remarkable gathering of professionals committed to advancing Sterilization Sciences, CSSD Management, and Patient Safety.

With 77 participants from across Luzon, the first day of the 2-Day Sterilization Sciences & CSSD Management Program became more than a conference—it became a platform for shared knowledge, professional collaboration, and a stronger commitment to excellence in sterile processing.

Under the theme “Instrument to Patient Safety,” every discussion reminded us that behind every properly processed instrument is a patient whose safety depends on our knowledge, discipline, and dedication.
