THANK YOU, LANZ! 🫡🌻

Three years of work, and a Society that has grown beyond where it began.

Under Lanz Anthonee A. Lagman, MSc., the UP Data Science Society took steps toward a bigger vision: a community where data science is not limited by campus, degree, or background, but is open to anyone willing to learn, contribute, and grow.

Through the years, the Society welcomed fellows and leaders from across the UP System and the country, bringing the community closer to becoming truly accessible nationwide.

It is such a simple idea, but one worth building for: that data science should be something more Filipinos can access, learn, use for social good, and give back to the community through.

Lanz helped lay the systems and foundations that make that vision possible. So, thank you, Lanz. 🌻

Not only for leading the Society, but for helping widen the doors for those who will come after.
The work continues. The doors remain open. And the vision goes further.

The UP Data Science Society extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bantang for his unwavering support and invaluable guidance to our organization. Thank you for always serving as a trusted mentor, generously sharing your wisdom to help steer our community forward.

We wish you all the best in your next chapter, Dr. Bantang! Kudos and Padayon! 💜✨

On behalf of the entire team, we extend our deepest gratitude for your visionary leadership and dedicated service as Program Director of the Computational Science Research Center (CSRC).

Throughout your tenure, your unwavering commitment to advancing interdisciplinary research, promoting computational science, and mentoring researchers has left an indelible mark on our community. Under your guidance, CSRC has grown not only as a center of academic excellence, but also as a collaborative haven where complex problems meet innovative solutions.

Thank you for your guidance, patience, and inspiring passion for knowledge. While we will greatly miss your leadership at the helm of CSRC, we wish you the very best in your next endeavors and future academic pursuits.

With our highest respect and warmest wishes,

PADAYON Dr. Bantang !
