Our AYLTC Trainees had an unforgettable experience at the 2nd Asia-Pacific Family Peace Leadership Conference in Pattaya, Thailand. Together with leaders and participants from across the region, they spent a week learning, serving, and connecting with people who share the same passion for peace and strong families.

As volunteer staff, the trainees helped welcome delegates, assisted with logistics, and supported media coverageโ€”making the event smooth and meaningful for everyone. They also joined the sessions themselves, gaining valuable insights on leadership, interfaith harmony, education, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.

This experience strengthened their confidence, broadened their worldview, and fueled their mission to become youth leaders who make a positive impact.

As part of the 2nd Asia Pacific Family Peace Leadership Conference, the Family Plenary explores the theme โ€œThe Role of Family Towards the New Civilization: A Platform of World Peace in Our Time,โ€ highlighting the vital role of families in creating a peaceful and values-centered global society.

The session is chaired by Dr. Erdenebulgan Ochirbat, Vice Chair of the Asia-Pacific Regional Peace Council of Professionals and Governor of the Philippine Red Cross, Republic of the Philippines. Together with two esteemed discussants, the plenary brings together diverse perspectives rooted in education, peacebuilding, and intergenerational leadership:

This plenary calls us to look inwardโ€”at our own familiesโ€”as the starting point of world peace.
