This Alopecia Awareness Month, we’re coming together to celebrate growth, strength, and every unique alopecia story. Join for a special series of community gatherings dedicated to building confidence, sharing inspiring experiences, and uplifting one another in a safe and supportive space.

Look forward to inspiring panel discussions and personal growth stories, expert advice on scalp health and hair-loss solutions, interactive confidence-building activities, and exclusive giveaways.

Our very own Awareness Ambassador and Alopecia Philippines Treasurer, Lhia Deinla, will also be there to share her personal alopecia journey and story of strength and confidence.💙

Alopecia Philippines is grateful to be part of this meaningful initiative as we continue to raise awareness, create safe spaces for our community, and remind one another that we never have to navigate alopecia alone.

September is Alopecia Awareness Month 💙

Alopecia is a hair loss condition that can affect the scalp and other parts of the body, but the journey goes far beyond hair.

At Alopecia Philippines, we SEE beyond Alopecia.

S — Support. We create a community where no one has to face Alopecia alone.
E — Educate. We raise awareness, share knowledge, and help break misconceptions surrounding the condition.
E — Empower. We encourage people with Alopecia to embrace who they are and live confidently beyond their hair loss.

This September and beyond, we continue to Support, Educate, and Empower our community. Because we SEE the person, not just the condition 💙

We’re excited to invite our Alopecia Philippines community to the book signing of “Okey Lang Maging Kalbo (It’s Okay to Be Bald)” by Eric Ruiz Roxas, with illustrations by Juno Abreu. 💙📖

Inspired by alopecia, this beautifully written and illustrated book carries a simple but powerful message for children and families: embrace and celebrate who you are, with or without hair.

If you have alopecia, or if you’re a parent of a child with alopecia, we’d love for you to join us for a special afternoon of encouragement and fun.

💙 20 kids from the Alopecia Philippines community who will join us will receive their own FREE copy of “Okey Lang Maging Kalbo,” along with some toys and goodies! 10 books will also be allotted to Alopecia members.

The Thai-Up: Hair Summit 2026 is a premier dermatological conference focusing on hair and scalp disorders. Hosted by the East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) Department of Dermatology, the event features Filipino and Thai experts, with a special talk and activities dedicated to the Alopecia community.
