AUMEGA is a student organization, founded in 2009, recognized by Adamson University, dedicated to and administered by the University's Mining Engineering and Geology students. The Adamson University Mining Engineering and Geology Association (AUMEGA) is the only academic organization in the university that is solely dedicated to Mining Engineering and Geology student. However, as the number of Ce

ramic Engineering students decreased to zero, the organization shifted to its present name in 2011. It was then, the start of its annual growth in population especially in Geology with combined population of at least 350. AUMEGA is extensively committed in developing excellence, honor, leadership, social conscience, and enlightened nationalism among its supportive members. Apart from this, AUMEGA is also in one with the Adamson University’s own 5S goals: Search for Excellence, Solidarity, Social Responsibility, Sustained Integral Development, and Spirit of St. The organization has already created numerous activities that ensure eloquence in its members such as environmental, religious, and outreach activities aside from its legacy events: Lecture Series, and MEGAlympics. In its 14 years of establishment, AUMEGA has received numerous awards including sports and is consistently in the ranks of the most productive organizations in the university with excellent officers who also receive outstanding awards and recognitions in their respective positions.

𝓞𝓾𝓻 𝓟𝓸𝔀𝓮𝓻, 𝓞𝓾𝓻 𝓟𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓮𝓽 🌎

For those of us in geosciences and engineering, 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒉 𝒂 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. Today, this celebration reminds us that we have the collective influence to shape a more sustainable future through every project we touch.

We are gathered to celebrate this day as dedicated caretakers of the Earth. Beyond our work, our true mission is to achieve the transition to clean energy and strengthen the environmental protections that keep our communities safe.

The previously announced online classes on April 29 and 30, 2026, as stipulated in VPAA Memo No. 13, s. 2026, will revert to in-person sessions to accommodate the Midterm Examinations.

In consideration of the impending transport strike, the Midterm Examinations for April 15–18, 2026, are hereby rescheduled to April 22–25, 2026.

In place of the scheduled Midterm Examinations, all classes from April 15 to 18, 2026, shall be conducted online in synchronous mode. The previously scheduled online classes on April 20–21, 2026, as per VPAA Memo No. 13, S. 2026, shall remain in effect.

AdUVISORY:

As part of our efforts to support our employees and reduce energy consumption amidst rising fuel costs, Adamson University will implement a Compressed Workweek (CWW) for non- teaching personnel, starting April 6, 2026.

Here are the adjusted office hours:

April 6-8: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
April 9: ( Araw ng Kagitingan): Holiday, no classes and work in offices
April 10: Online classes, no work in offices

No compressed workweek will be implemented during the midterm examination period. From April 13-18, 2026- the work schedule shall follow the regular hours of 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
