Bukod sa pagbibigay nila ng saya, ang mga pusa ay mahalaga dahil tumutulong sila sa pagkontrol ng mga peste tulad na lamang ng mga daga. Dahil dito, napoprotektahan nila ang ating mga tahanan, pati na rin ang ating mga kabukiran mula sa mga sakit na dala ng mga daga.

We're grateful to the International Pet Summit 2026 team for inviting CARA Welfare Philippines to join Day 1 of this year's festivities at SMX.

Thank you for giving us the platform to talk about how organizations and volunteer-led initiatives can give Community Cats a better life It was also a wonderful chance to catch up with our CARA partners and friends along the way.

A special shoutout to The Pinoy Dog Whisperer
Lestre Zapanta, Ms. Cathy, and the Gabay team for sharing their booth with us so our dog ambassadors, Bravo and Joy, could take a well-deserved break. The two had a wonderful time going around the venue, posing for selfies with everyone who stopped by to say hi.

We'd also like to acknowledge the volunteers who joined us for the event: thank you Irianne, Audrey, Nympha, Agnes, and Armel for being with us onsite, and thank you Julia and Jasmine for all your support online.

We're proud to have been part of one of the biggest pet events of the year, and we look forward to being back again soon.
