HOW WE STARTED
Tamaraw Volunteers or TAMVOL is a university-wide volunteer organization in Far Eastern University, and the very first student-based volunteer organization on the campus initiated by a group of students, formerly named as Young Volunteers of Today (YVOT), with the aim to inculcate among the youth the importance of volunteerism and community service in helping the nation. neered a significant amount of community service projects to the FEU community (GK Pabahay, Tamaraw Counting, Kanlungan sa ERMA, Kalsadaskwela, Volunteer's Week, FEU Green Convergence, Dumagat Immersion, LAPIS, Pasko ng PAgbabahagi, Tamaraw Famine Converge.) and become partner organization of various organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Museong Pambata, Gawad Kalinga, UNICEF, Clean Air, Hands On Manila, World Vision PH. MAKING AN IMPACT
It has also produced service-oriented leaders, several awardees of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines, founders of non-government organizations, remarkable student leaders, full-time workers in the field of community service and nation-building. Currently celebrating a decade of its unending passion for volunteerism and nation-building.
