Junior Management Association (JMA) JMA is a recognized student organization of Adamson University for Operations Management

The Management curriculum leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management is a four-year development program designed to provide professional education and training for students preparing themselves for managerial or staff positions, or for the operation of a business or division of an industrial, marketing or service enterprise. It also offers courses for college students who need management courses as foundation for their academic programs. The program seeks to develop within framework of the local enterprise system, a philosophy of management which incorporates a sense of responsibility to employers, employees, consumers, vendors, and the community. Thus, it becomes important that the students gain the knowledge and skills for human relations, directing group effort and the various phases of business, such as production, marketing, finance, personnel, and accounting. Students are required to take some courses in each of these fields. An important component of the program is the knowledge, understanding, and application of the ethical principles of the profession. In addition, specific courses launch the student into a survey of standard methods and techniques for doing business, followed by a study of the principles of industrial management, administrative services, business psychology, purchasing administration, and business policy. Case studies, problem solving techniques, group discussions, conferences, and other forums are employed to bring out the practical aspects of management.

โ€ข September 29 (Tue.) - Online synchronous (due to strike)

College:
โ€ข September 28 (Mon.) - Online synchronous (as scheduled)
โ€ข September 29 (Tue.) - Online synchronous (as scheduled)

Should the announced transport strike proceed on September 30, 2026 (Activity Day), scheduled activities may be conducted online, where feasible. Otherwise, they may be rescheduled to the immediately following Saturday in accordance with VPAA Memo No. 39, S. 2026, โ€œGuidelines on the Conduct of Activity Day,โ€ and subject to its applicable provisions. For classes scheduled on the same day, the online synchronous modality shall be observed.

Onsite office operations will proceed as usual.

On August 28, 2026. The ๐‘ฑ๐’–๐’๐’Š๐’๐’“ ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’๐’‚๐’ˆ๐’†๐’Ž๐’†๐’๐’• ๐‘จ๐’”๐’”๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’, in partnership with the ๐‘ช๐’‰๐’“๐’Š๐’”๐’•๐’–๐’” ๐‘ฝ๐’Š๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’• ๐‘ช๐’๐’Ž๐’Ž๐’–๐’๐’Š๐’•๐’š (๐‘ช๐‘ฝ๐‘ช), came together for a meaningful outreach event centered on compassion, solidarity, and service. Through donation giving, Holy Mass, and meaningful moments of pakikisalo, we had the opportunity to spend time, share stories, and connect with our brothers and sisters experiencing street-dwelling situations. ๐Ÿซ‚โœจ

This encounter reminded us that service is not only about giving material things, but also about sharing our time, presence, and kindness with others.

As transportation remained accessible despite todayโ€™s transport strike , please be advised that face-to-face/ onsite classes will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

In addition, classes previously scheduled online for September 17,18, and 19, 2026 will also be conducted onsite.

This adjustment is made to accommodate the rescheduled Preliminary Examinations and to make up for laboratory classes following recent suspensions due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon .
