Junior Management Association (JMA) JMA is a recognized student organization of Adamson University for Operations Management

The Management curriculum leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management is a four-year development program designed to provide professional education and training for students preparing themselves for managerial or staff positions, or for the operation of a business or division of an industrial, marketing or service enterprise. It also offers co

urses for college students who need management courses as foundation for their academic programs. The program seeks to develop within framework of the local enterprise system, a philosophy of management which incorporates a sense of responsibility to employers, employees, consumers, vendors, and the community. Thus, it becomes important that the students gain the knowledge and skills for human relations, directing group effort and the various phases of business, such as production, marketing, finance, personnel, and accounting. Students are required to take some courses in each of these fields. An important component of the program is the knowledge, understanding, and application of the ethical principles of the profession. In addition, specific courses launch the student into a survey of standard methods and techniques for doing business, followed by a study of the principles of industrial management, administrative services, business psychology, purchasing administration, and business policy. Case studies, problem solving techniques, group discussions, conferences, and other forums are employed to bring out the practical aspects of management.

Today we celebrate all the ๐‘‘๐‘Ž๐‘‘๐‘ , ๐‘ก๐‘–๐‘ก๐‘œ๐‘ , ๐‘˜๐‘ข๐‘ฆ๐‘Ž๐‘ , ๐‘™๐‘œ๐‘™๐‘œ๐‘ , ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘‘ ๐‘’๐‘ฃ๐‘’๐‘› ๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘’ ๐‘š๐‘’๐‘›๐‘ก๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ๐‘ , ๐‘ก๐‘’๐‘Ž๐‘โ„Ž๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘ , ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘‘ ๐‘“๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘’๐‘›๐‘‘๐‘  who stepped up as father figures in our lives. They are the ones who work quietly yet tirelessly, who guide us with wisdom, and who remind us that real courage is choosing family every single day. Their sacrificesโ€”big or smallโ€”are the foundation of the love and strength we carry forward.

Let us honor their everyday heroismโ€”not just in grand gestures, but in the simple acts of care, patience, and support that shape our lives. On this Fatherโ€™s Day, we salute the men who inspire us to live with love, resilience, and purpose, and we thank them for being our role models, protectors, and cheerleaders.

On this day, we celebrate the liberation of the Philippines from the chains of the Spanish regime, a colonization that took centuries from our people and imprisoned us on our own soil, until the blood, sweat, and unwavering devotion of our Filipino heroes who bravely fought and gave their lives for the independence of our country.

May we remember that our independence was earned by those who refused to bow to others and who put their fellow Filipinos and their country first. As Heneral Luna said, โ€œ๐๐ž๐ ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐จ ๐จ ๐ค๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ๐š๐š๐ง? ๐๐š๐ฒ๐š๐ง ๐จ ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข? ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข ๐ค๐š!โ€, may we choose to be liberated from selfishness, division, and indifference, and continue choosing our nation and our fellow Filipinos above ourselves.
