Our vessel will be lifted out at Norsand Boatyard to begin the official refit.
The first stage of work includes:
A fully accessible bathroom
A bespoke stern extension with a wheelchair-friendly design
Specially engineered ramps
Accessibility modifications throughout the vessel
These upgrades will ensure safe, enjoyable, and life-changing adventures for people who have never been able to access a boat before.

Access to Adventure — Christmas Update is Live!
It’s been a huge year — and we’re excited to share our latest progress, milestones, and a very special announcement:

🚤 The refit begins January 2026!
Our vessel will be hauled out at Norsand Boatyard to start the accessible rebuild — including a fully accessible bathroom, wheelchair-friendly stern extension, and ramps designed so everyone can safely enjoy the ocean.
We’re now one step closer to launching Northland’s first fully accessible fishing and adventure vessel — opening the ocean to people with disabilities, chronic illness, and mental health challenges.

Our goal remains clear:
💙 1,000 life-changing ocean adventures every year.
We’ve made incredible progress thanks to our supporters. But there is still more work to complete the refit and open the ocean to all, and with your continued support, we know we can do it!
